In its seventh edition, taking place from October 9th to October 14th, the #ErasmusDays 2023 celebrates the cultural diversity of Europe and the numerous learning opportunities it offers.
Framed within the context of the European Year of Skills, this initiative invites stakeholders in European mobility, especially schools, students, and teachers, to highlight a program that generates opportunities in multiple dimensions: strengthening language and intercultural skills, improving employability, and promoting European values of tolerance, respect, and diversity. In the previous edition of 2022, 6,295 activities took place worldwide, and this year, it’s expected to exceed that number.
Ikaslan Bizkaia joins the celebration of European mobility
Ikaslan Bizkaia, as a network of public Vocational Education and Training centers, strongly believes in the significance of mobility to enhance the potential of our students and teaching staff. Zaloa Mitxelena, responsible for project development in our network, emphasizes that mobility offers not only an opportunity to improve technical and cross-functional skills in the professional field, but also to identify opportunities and best practices from other entities that inspire us to continue making Basque Vocational Education a reference.
For all these reasons, we couldn’t resist taking part in this European Union initiative. Since October 9th, we have been sharing on our Instagram and Facebook pages the experiences of students and teachers from our centers, who have participated in the Erasmus+ program. Until October 15th, Lorea, Asier, Carlos, Esti, Bruna, Majed, Ester, and Inmaculada will provide their point of view about studying and working in other countries in the Union.
We encourage you to join this celebration by following our social media posts! If you have also participated in an Erasmus program or simply wish to share your thoughts on this topic, we invite you to contribute and be a part of this European celebration!
